Strange eating habits

Basically i am just becoming conscience of the fact that i binge eat. I either have to eat practically nothing (about 600cals a day) or go to 2000cals which for me is binging.

I know 2000cals is the recommended, but honstley one size does not fit all, and i start feeling full after 1000cals, and if i go higher i actually start to feel physically sick and have thrown up out of feeling so stuffed.
I tend to have an addictive personality and would love to just be able to tell myself to stop once i've had enough, how can i do this?

Another thing i've noticed is that some carbs my body can not actually deal with, if i have too my white bread or biscuits i feel really really sleepy, and instantly my eyes drop and i fall asleep. I'll have a full nights sleep the night before then have a bowl of pasta and toast and i'm out, what the hell is wrong with me?

I think these may be linked to the fact that i didnt really start eating properly till i was 13 (18 now), but i dont really know.
Any advice and help would be amazing

If you eat regularly and eat similar amounts each day then that might help with the bingeing/ practically eating nothing problem. If you don't eat much for a couple of days, the reason you need more another day is to make up for that. By eating similar amounts everyday, you won't be so tempted to binge.

Make sure you eat 3 meals a day and maybe a snack or two. Also listen to your body and question your eating habits. If you find yourself wanting food, is because your actually hungry or just bored?

I don't know about the carbohydrate thing. Have you tried wholemeal or granary bread and wholemeal pasta?

the bread/pasta thing could be a gluten problem.

it sounds like you're wheat-intolerant - i know feeling sleepy after wheat is a symptom of that. avoid wheat pasta and bread, and try other starch alternatives such as potatoes, oats and rice

the idea about eating small meals is a good one - there's no way you can get all your nutrients on 600 cals, it's just not healthy. build up to a sensible level of calories, 1200 as a minimum (even if this makes you feel full) by eating nutrient dense foods such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit, full fat yogurt...
vegetables and fruits are also important but don't over-do these if it means you don't have room for anything else.

how long have you been like this?
have you considered the reasons behind it?
