What are the best universities for Classics?

I'm applying this year and am considering Oxford, Durham, UCL, Exeter and Warwick...but I've heard there are loads of other good ones and can't make up my mind

They are all fantastic universities, but you should also consider northern universities (I know Durham is northern, but you know what I mean) like Liverpool. Classics at Liverpool is supposed to be fantastic, and it is excellent for things like Archaeology, Egyptology, Anthropology (Biological and Social), so it isn't just the historical side of Classics that it specialises in, but also the physical history of the world (i.e. Archaeology).

I'm not entirely sure, but I know the students teach latin in schools and have to write a report about it, you could phone the uni to find out more

Congrats! I actually went to Exeter today and wasn't hugely blown away by it, so I'll be sticking with Edinburgh I think!

I’ve got offers from:
Bristol - AAA
Exeter - AAB (or ABB if I put it as my firm...tempting?)
Edinburgh - ABB
Newcastle - AAB

Would appreciate any advice on which to choose
