Like people have said, you need to go see your doctor.

Do you know where your ovaries are? Just out of interest, like. Most people have interesting ideas on the locations of some of their organs. And, of course, pain from abdominal/pelvic organs is very poorly localised as they have a poor nerve supply, so you can't really be too specific.

But as ever, if you're worried, see a doctor.

i know where my ovaries are
op do you have any hardness or swelling in the area? and if you bend sideways does it hurt?
either way its a trip to the docteriebobs for you
Aren't the ovaries on the corner bits of the pelvis? It maybe a sign of UTI.

Not really, no. (To the first part - the 2nd part is more likely to be true).

is it possible it could be your kidneys hurting? if you have a urinary tract infection (UTI), it can spread up to infect the kidneys. this would cause pain in your back on each side a couple of inches above your pelvis. does it just hurt when you go to the toilet, or most of the time?
it could be what's termed 'ovulation pain'. some women, for 5 mins to two days each month get pain in one or both ovaries, usually around the time of ovulation (around two weeks after the start of your period). depends whether it's just when you go to the toilet. perhaps you are just more aware of the pain when you are on the toilet.
bit of a late reply..but hope it helps..oh and also..see the doctor.x

Sort of about like this:

They're not as far out to the sides as your hip bones, and they're also quite deep inside you, not near to the surface.

ok i have had a pain exactly where the right ovary is on that diagram for about 3 weeks now. Should I be afraid? I asked the doctor but she didn't know and told me to go back in a month. She doesn't speak good english so wasn't too good :p: I also have a wee lump there, or at least I can feel something under my skin that i can't feel on the other side. I was anon 3 before
