hello. i would like to do dentistry but the alevel i have chosen are Biology, Chemistry and maths. In my school you will need to take 4 alevels as it is required but i am not sure what to take for my 4th subject for alevel. i looked at the entry requiements for dentistry at newcastle university and it said 'critical tinking and general studies are not required' what does that mean and what specific subjects do they dont want us to take.
please help

HI,
i want to be a dentist too.
if you look at most UNI's they actually only require chemistry and biology.
however they tend to recommend taking either maths or physics
(further maths is not counted)

as you can see you are left with on option of any subject.
this is a free pick so you should do psychology as its easier compared to other subjects.

as long as you have A GOOD STRONG grade in maths, biology, chemistry. then you will get in successfully in any dentistry course

hope this helped
