Hi,

Has anyone applied for child Nursing already for 2016 entry? I am about to apply at Kingston, UWL, Greenwich and City. I was told that Kingston does a MMI, so was wondering what kind of questions do they ask and if the MMI is hard or not. Any help would be great.

I didn't apply to any of the universities you've listed, but we're not allowed to discuss specific interview details here on TSR, as I'm sure you'll understand it gives an unfair advantage. However, this site provides a good set of example questions: https://www.studential.com/interviews/nursing-questions

Make sure your answers are concise, and actually answer the question. Ensure that your answers are non-judgemental and not discriminatory. Provide examples from experiences you have had, and show good understanding of what a children's nurse does! (We don't play with children as many people think!). Something else that will come across incredibly well in your answers is to show lots of compassion when discussing hypothetical situations about patients/parents.

Have a flick through the NMC Code of Conduct (2015) http://www.nmc.org.uk/globalassets/s...w-nmc-code.pdf and make sure you are aware of current issues/research etc surrounding children's nursing!

Yuup, I understand. Thankyou for the links, I'll look through it! Are you a student nurse, if so how is the Uni-life of a student nurse? I'm really curious. Hope you don't mind my questions.
