not at all wowzaa..

for architects in the UK the working hours are 9-5, here its 8-6.
Normally jobs have either a 2 day shift with about 2-3 hours in between off. And for my other architectural job last year that's the routine they followed - over here you get one hour for lunch.

Other jobs can also have an 8-3 or 8-4 job...

nearly there now though - till Aug 6th for me. And the best is that I now have someone to gossip with over here hahaha.. and they're using my like an assistant and not an intern, so I don't make coffee or anything, I actually get involved with projects!!! ;w00t;

Ah ok. I knew the UK had the longest working hours in Europe, but I hope those 10 hr days include overtime! Haha.

Still, it's good you are getting involved with projects as that will help with experience!

*Hugs to everyone*
yeah majorly - I knew the experience terribly coz as an architecture student thats the first thing they wanna know really coz each practice has their own design ethos, and each school teach you different skills etc etc etc

overtime? 10 hours is the actually job... anything over is classed as overtime, but nly junior architects will get paid overtime, seniors dont.
Further - since I'm an intern I dont have to stay over :p: so woo

:hugs:
howzit going in your life wowza?... any luck with your new lady friend? :p:
