Why don't you get to know the guys that would go out with you? you could end up likeing them more than you think if you spend time with them etc.

why don't you realise that being out of a relationship is the default for human beings and concentrate on your own self-respect and security rather than seeking it from someone else who can never be relied upon 100%?
