I need to escape

Has anyone ever felt like this before? I'm really sick of seeing the same faces, the same places, hearing the same noises and everything day in day out. I really just want to be alone somewhere lovely and everyone else can **** off and let me be so I can do my coursework.

I'm really driving myself crazy, but I don't know how to drown anything out. That's what I feel, very drained! I just want some time off from everything except my work so I can get on with it, but there are so many darn interruptions!

Can anyone relate or am I alone here?

That's life (that's life), that's what all the people say
You're ridin' high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June
etc etc

You should go on holiday or something!

it's a nice day, grab your work and sit in the park or something.

A nice day? Lucky you! lol. It's reaning here - like normal:rolleyes:
Although taking work outside is always the best thing for me - it prevents the trapped feeling which I experience sat in my room all day...

I really would love to go outside and do my work, I'm sick of being at home. Ah, you've just found my new "want" for the month - a laptop.

erm, go to the library?! you're just stressed, chill and have a breather, don't over-dramatise things you'll just make it a lot harder for yourself!

I can sympathise with the way that you are feeling. I dont think I feel exactly the way you feel but I have similar, maybe more extreme feelings!!

Im very dissapointed with the University experience, it was nothing like what I expected and I have kept giving it another chance and letting that go and giving it another one but it never seems to come up trumps!

I very quickly got tired of seeing the same people every day, going out with the same people every other day, and basically the monotony that is going to university. I got a break when I went on my placement and had a fresh start, met some great people, worked hard and played hard, but somehow the monotony was gone despite doing the same job every day for year.

The thing that annoys me most about uni is the 'are you going out tonight?' culture. If youre not going out, apparently that makes you a loser or a geek. I eventually got so fed up of the people at uni that I decided to ignore them. Now I get all my work done and my grades have gone up!!! I'm still friends with all my old friends but I spend 10% as much time with them now and I take very oppurtunity to visit friends in other places who I havent seen for a while, I sometimes even go and do a couple of days work where I did my placement!!! Life needs more variety than the boring uni life!! Contrary to popular belief its actually a place for boring people who have nothing better to do than 'pretend' to study...
