weird eye/head thing

for the past week i've been having a load of difficulty concentrating on stuff, it's weird. it's like i've permanently got something between my eyes in side my head (does that make sense?) and i keep loosing focus on stuff when i'm looking at it. like if i'm posting on tsr i won't be focussing on what i'm writing but sort of er...just on nothing actually. also headache, tired as hell, general inability to do work, feel a bit like throwing up most of the time, seem to need the loo a bit more too (though that could be because of the amount of tea i've been drinking in an attempt to concentrate on work).

anyone recomend what i should do/whats up?

I've been having the same symptoms for about a week now, but I put it down to having a virus that's been doing the rounds which has kickstarted a migraine. It sounds like you could have a migraine too, so take some Migraleve, have a cup of sugary tea and try to sleep it off. If you still feel sick and your vision hasn't improved in a few days, see a doctor. If, however, you notice that you're bumping into things a lot (walking into door frames, stubbing your toe etc) or dropping things, it might be worth seeing a doctor soon.

Do go and see an optician!

Sitting looking at something close like a computer screen can lead to blurred vision & eye strain (see below)

"Strained Eyes
Working for long periods of time on the computer can strain your eyes or can worsen existing eye conditions. Symptoms include eye discomfort, headaches, itchy eyes and difficulty in focusing. It is important to rest the eyes while working on the computer. Regularly look at more distant objects, e.g. use thinking time to look out of the window, and take frequent breaks from computer work. Visit the optician for regular eye check-ups and make sure you tell them if you are a frequent computer user. "

So the simple advice is "get your eyes tested"...
