I registered for UCAS and recieved some conditional offers, however in recent days I have decided to take a gap year. is there a way to keep these offers for another year? or do I need to reapply to UCAS all over again next year?

See this from UCAS' site (http://www.ucas.com/getting/after/changes.html#3):

Year of entry

If you are happy with your choice of university or college but you want to defer your application for a year, you should write to the university or college directly, not to us (UCAS). If the university or college agrees, it will tell us about the change. If we have already sent you an offer for your original choice, we will change it and send you a new one.

Hope this helps,
