I think the teacher wants you to estimate the overall density of a caravan and it's contents.
Using mass conservation, the overall mass, M equals the sum of the masses of the caravan and it's components, m1, m2, m3 etc.
So in equation form: M=m1+m2+m3 etc.
Where eg, m1 is the caravan outer wall, m2 is the wheels etc.
You should also know that density = mass / volume.
Therefore you can rewrite the above equation in terms of density:
DENSITY*V = m1 + m2 etc...
Where DENSITY and V are the overall density and volume of the caravan.
So now you have an equation for DENSITY, by dividing the above one by V:
DENSITY = (m1 + m2 + m3)/V
You need to estimate V and look up rough values for m1, m2 etc.

Wow ok...I have like found values like the mass is 3500 overall then there is a capacity of 1870litres?
