What do you do at university?

Excluding nights out partying and staying in and studying?

My lectures are too few so I have a lot of time to kill after writing up notes and looking at future lectures. I was thinking about joining a club or starting a new hobby but none have jumped out at me so far. How do you kill your time, I'm studying at Plymouth and it's a beautiful place just to walk around and see the sights but I can't just do that every day.

Walk around and eat pies mostly.

The bulk of your study is intended to be independent, not just attending and writing up lectures. You need to think about your reading lists - spend time in your uni library or reading academic online journals/sources.

Preparing for tutorials/seminars? Each of mine take a bloody long time. So along with lectures, eating, sleeping, sport and occasional evening entertainment and procrastination my time's pretty full :-)

My days could be filled night and day just with studying tbh. But I don't- sports club, gym, voluntary work and socialising (not just nights out but pub, dinner etc) fill my time. There really is no excuse to be bored at uni, and this is coming from someone with 8 contact hours a week.

Apart from studying?

Eat, sleep, take brief breaks. Oh and good old procrastination.

I spend most of my spare time working. I prioritise it over everything
read
eat
sleep
walk
cry

repeat
