Are AS and A2 considered as modules? For example, in A-level OCR Chemistry, there are 6 comprising elements: F321, F322, F323, F324, F325 & F326. Does each comprising element (F32X) count as a module, or does all of the AS material count as a single module? Thank you!

Hey :wavey:

F321, F322, F323 etc. are all called units.

Within these units (apart from the coursework units), there are modules, e.g. F325 has 3 modules.

So you can split the A-Level into As and A2, and then further into units, and then split those units further into modules.

Of course, due to reforms this is different if you're starting A-Levels this year (no coursework, new specification, etc.).
Hope this helps

Is there no-one else on tsr doing that spec.

Can I ask you that for an exam like M5 where very few uk students will be doing. I suppose 100 or so, what happens to the grade boundaries.
Since one person getting 75 or 0 could change the grade boundaries hugely!
