sorry for being a pain, i havent a clue wat to do here. anyone willing to help!

okay for the first one i got x/k sinkx + i/k^2 coskx , is that alright?

for ii)

cosA-cosB-cosA-cosB= -cos2B when expanded out right?

cosA-cosB-cosA-cosB= -cos2B when expanded out right?

nota bene

iff i=1 it is agreeing with what chewwy got=)

yeh soz it is 1 but im not sure chewwy's right....wen u integrate sin u get - cos, theres a - already outside the integral so it should be + right? well unless ive gone wrong

You're right, it is probably just a typo in chewwy's last line, I didn't even read that last part so didn't spot it.

for ii) do u use the double angle rule, cos i get -cos2B when expand, or do u use the cos (A+/-B) = cosAcosB -/+ sinA sinB ? and i think expressing 2 sin 5x sin 3x is cos (5x-3x) - cos (5x+3x).....right????

ii)cos (A-B)-cos(A+B)

expanded: cosA -cosB -cosA -cosB= -2cosB....where do i go from here?????

expanded: cosA -cosB -cosA -cosB= -2cosB....where do i go from here?????

no..... =[

Here is an extract from the Edexcel Booklet given to you during the actual examination.

Here is the last part. I get the correct answer ( I didn't cheat) but it is possible that I have made errors which have cancelled each other out. But I repeat I did not cheat...
