I'm resitting AS/A2 this year and was wandering if this is suitable for me or will it be following the spec for the new exams only?

I think you're in the same position as my son, ie. doing the final year of the old spec, in which case I think these are the books you need, these are what my son has

I'm 99% sure that the ones you've linked to are for the new spec, but perhaps it would be worth giving OCR a call.
