does deforestation have an impact on global warming, or is it irrelevant to the cycle of earths climate?

Deforestation does have an effect on climate change because by removing the trees you are killing off the ''lungs of the planet'', and then the levels of Carbon Dioxide dramatically increase in the atmosphere because the balance has been tampered with. But the effects on the climate as the result of deforestation are completely separate from the planets natural cycle.

Yeah what CrickyWicky said. CO2 is a greenhouse gas thus more of it in the atmosphere prevents solar radiation from leaving the atmosphere. This is a primary cause of global warming, which itself is a part of climate change.

Yes, I think that if people are too busy chopping down trees, they are less likely to be spending time eating baked beans and farting.
