argh! burns when i pee!

as title. happening for about a week, what do i do? no other symptoms, is there any chance it could be anything but a STD? please? :s-smilie:

I had sex quite a few times but always with a condom over a two week period before this started, surely it would of happened before now if it was an STD?

Probably a UTI. Classic symptom of cystitis. Could be chlamydia or gonorrhoea but if you used a condom it's unlikely. See your GP, a simple course of antibiotics should clear it up :smile:

Edit: Oh and if it is a UTI, you can help prevent them by drinking cranberry juice and by making sure you go for a wee after sex (although preferably get out of bed and off your partner first).

I had this when I had cystitis. If you go to the doc's and say this I imagine the first thing they will do is just test your urine (right there and then.. privacy to wee, obviously), so go now!

A UTI = Cystitis or similar. It is an Urinary Tract Infection. Google it.

I had this before! and it was the worst pain ever. I can remember crying everytime i had a wee. Anyway lol, i think you have a water infection. In my case i did anyway.

It's probably cystitis. People get it a lot, not big deal. I went to the doctor when I had it but he just made me drink lots of lemon barley water (like the Robinsons kind) until it went away. I think cranberry juice works too. Basically, drink LOTS.
