I am trying to gain weight and currently weigh 158 pounds having gained 1 pound in the past week and a half. I am not interested in getting big just gaining a few more pounds and was wondering what most people would see as ideal.
I think the term ideal weight is a bit vague as it'll depend heavily on your composition. 175 pounds and 25% body fat is a lot different to 175 pounds and 10% body fat.
My advise would be whatever feels comfortable for you.
Depends a lot on frame size as well, not just height. In short, whatever weight makes you happy with what you see in the mirror (which will obviously factor in body comp).
