Thick saliva after eating

Why do I get thick saliva in the top of my mouth after eating? Its made me vomit a few times, though I found rinsing with salt water removes the feeling and thick saliva. The most common food that causes this would be chocolate or oily foods. Is there a way I can prevent this and what's causing this? Thanks.
stop eating oily foods, chocolate and sugar foods for a while. exercise 4-5 times a week, and drink plenty of water.

You've clearly stated the reason behind your problem there therefore the solution would be to refrain from products containing them for a while-3weeks minimum
