Unfortunately, I don't know how to stop it happening, but if you get excess bloating you can try 'aqua ban' tablets which I have used in the past and found really helpful

Some PMS tablets contain diuretics to help get rid of the water, but that is hardly healthy.

A good idea would be to drink a lot of water, watch what you eat (avoid salty foods at all costs! And if you're trying to keep the slim look, avoiding the fatty and sugary foods is probably a good idea too), and keep your body active so that you can sweat at least some of it out.

This probably won't stop PMS bloating altogether, but it should help.

yeah - plenty of water and exercise really should mellow it out a bit
but unfortunately there is no "healthy" way of stopping the bloating - i guess you could just wear a skirt or a long top just to prevent it from showing?

I take evening primrose oil and it is an absolute godsend. My grandma used to bang on and on about how it was the miracle cure to most "lady problems".To be honest, since I started taking one every day my periods have become lighter and less painful, its helped loads with my PMT and bloating too. Try them! I'd recommend it to anybody
