Is it better to do a nursing degree with registration or not? I know that in order to work as a nurse that I will need a degree and then to register with the NMC but when looking at universities I'm a little confused by courses offered with registration. Does it mean that I don't need to do a seperate application to the NMC if I take a nursing degree with reg.

All nursing degrees come with registration unless they are for already qualified nurses

You need a nursing degree to be able to register with the NMC. Hence some courses are described as pre - registration. You will still need to apply to the NMC to have your degree recognised, pay your fee and be put on the register.
