Change to pill (cerazette to zelleta?) watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with Zelleta? I've been on Cerazette for a fair few years now, but after going to get another prescription, I've been changed over to Zelleta (it's cheaper, apparently), which is 'the same pill, effectively, with the same active ingredient'.

Same active ingredient, yet minor changes in other ingredients...So in theory shouldn't act any different to Cerazette. On the Cerazette, my periods would be very light and normally every two or three months.

So why is it, now I've started on Zelleta (over a week ago), I've broken out terribly and started my period, despite having one only 2 weeks ago?! What is this madness?
