I'm really embarrassed about this but I've had a lot of personal circumstances (hence my gap year) to reason my dreadful mistake! Cue the 'if you're stupid enough to make this mistake then why even apply to uni?!' replies!

In all seriousness, I suppose that instead of 'forgot' it might make more sense to say 'didn't know' -- I've finished my A levels and so applied as an individual, adding only my A2 grades on the UCAS form. If I were to email UCAS would they be able to add my completed AS grades as well as a re-sit that I had on one?

I'm hoping that if I contact UCAS early enough I won't have to tell the uni's directly (because not adding your AS levels is obviously really desirable for a prospect student) and savour myself any embarrassment, as it's only been a couple of days since I sent it off and so I'm sure it will take a loooong while for them to look at it! Here's hoping...
