    The circumstances which pertain which cause the Board of Governors to considerand act upon the provision of 4.1 above shall be a matter of considered judgement,but would normally be those relating to an act of deception or malpractice in theobtaining or use of an award conferred by the University, or by conduct of an awardholder(s) which brings the Institution into disrepute by virtue of that person holding 12an award(s) of the University.

    does 'normally' mean any reason could be used to revoke a degree?
    does 'by virtue of that person holding that degree' mean you bring the university into disrepute because you were holding the degree, and in what instances would this be?
