Font size and style for personal statement

What's the best font and size to be used on a personal statement?

You can never go wrong with Arial. Verdana is nice too.

I've not pasted in my PS yet, but can you actually alter font on their form? I assumed it was just paste into the box and it'll come out on whatever font the system uses.

If you are talking about your Ucas ps, there is no option for personalisation. It's all automatically formatted.

So it doesn't really matte what I write it in, as the UCAS will format it for me?

Yeah.

Yes. It's a bit primitive.
As some people above said, UCAS has their automatic font and size of text.
Also, when writing your PS keep in mind that the character count is different on word and UCAS as UCAS counts the paragraph space as two characters.
