hello i have two things that i wish to inquire about:

    1. i failed my gcse english (edexcel), according to my teacher it was due to my coursework, i wish to know can i retake my coursework and exam or it it just the exam

    2. i wish to travel to america and go to university to study medicine, so i am putting more work effort and am studying a-levels.
my gcse grades were not so good, they are in total 7 GCSEs, 8 if you add english retake including:
    English lit (C)
    History(D)
    additional science(B)
    maths(B)
    science(B)
    English(D)
    engineering(C)
    geography(\D)
    computing(C)

so my grades are 3 Bs, 3 Cs and 3 Ds (2 if you take the ENG retake into hand)

is it possible to go to an american university with these gcse grades? if i get really good a-levels
and what would the a-level requirement be for me to get in to an american university

and what paths could i take

    thanks a lot!!
