Most of my friends are going to this local college and i went to the open day today and it has all the subjects i want to study (Business, Computer Science and Maths w/ Statistics/Mechanics). The problem is this college is 7th best in the country and has high entry requirements. The minimum requirements are 6 B's which isnt a big deal as i will most likely get that at GCSE but as i apply with my predicted grades which are currently Cs i don't i will be accepted. Its a very prestigious college with a rigorous application process and gets a lot applications. I currently have done 2 exams, Core Science which i got a B and English Lang which i got a C but i resitting it to get a B/A. I really don't know what i can do to get into this college or what to do if i don't.

Hiya,
It's always worth giving it a try especially if you feel it is the best option for you. If they do interviews, really showcasing your full potential and skills in the interview will put you ahead of others and may compensate for your grades. Always make sure you have a few back up plans too so that you always have options open to you- you never know what might happen bad or really good. Go for it! -
