I'm starting work experience and I'm terrified watch

    I'm starting work experience tomorrow and I'm terrified. I'm quite shy around people I don't know, so I tend to feel quite self concious about my self. I'll be working at a fancy hotel and I'm scared that the employees won't like me because I'm a young, shy, skinny, not the best looking sort of guy and most of the employees will be in expensive suits looking like models. Basically I'm scared that the employes will not like me and I'm sure they won't not like me but it's just a habit because of me being really self concious and shy but I still feel that way. I was wondering if anybody has been in my situation and if you could give me some tips or help in regards to my situation. Thank you

    I haven't been in your exact situation myself, but I have done work experience before and I am very similar to you, I am also very shy and self-conscious a lot of the time. All I can suggest is to try your best to be confident, and remember that your work experience won't last too long - you won't be stuck working there forever!
