    Hi,
So just to keep it short, I took a gap year, and then went on to do my first year at uni. However I really really hate my uni (I feel as though I'm capable of more) and even though my uni is not bad, I fee like if I redid the year doing the same course, I can transfer after first year to a better uni?????

    So?

Not a stupid idea at all if you feel like you want to go to a better uni, I would phone different unis and see if they would accept you based on the degree classification you got in your first year before jumping the gun.

Even though it will mean I am 2 years behind my actual class and I will be doing the same course again??
Also, I already have asked some unis and have a place! Thanks!

2 years isn't actually that much at uni, as I am sure you are aware after seeing your course mates range of ages. =l
