With a new specification, I doubt there will be many answers - and I'm worried about not coming up to scratch because it is a new specification.

But how can I get high UMS in AS-History?

I got 100% in my GCSE papers, so I want to get around the same if I can but... A2 and AS are hard I guess. Prepared to put the work in.

I'm doing Edexcel History (Tudor to be precise).

Through personal experience, the main way to get a high UMS in the subject is if you do well in it.
Peace
