For my Y12 politics class I've got to compare the result of a single made up constituency.

Basically the survey has a normal FPTP system where you choose one candidate and the other question is what would be put to the electorate in AV.

Please get as many people to do this as possible - it take literally 30secs to do!

(note you don't have to have three choices, you can just put one or two)

Have you been on this website a while? It turns out that it's easier to do on newer accounts -- I used one for a while and the format is significantly different. Whereas when I bold, italicise or underline something, I get 'b', 'i' or 'u' in square brackets on either end, the newer accounts are a little bit more advanced, both with respect to those things and with doing @ tags. To do the @ thing on the older accounts, you usually need to know the person's user number from their profile and put it in a *name* format, without the boldened bracket.

Edit: You can see it if you quote CoolCavy and look at how the text looks in the editor.

Really looking forward to seeing the result for this - especially if FPTP gives a different candidate to AV.

Ahhh, so there isn't a cheat way for me :moon:

How do people even remember user numbers anyway?

They don't. You don't have to in the new system -- you just put @ and a search function appears. Remembering user numbers is for us old devils. Or we could go on their profile and look at the numbers in the URL but, to be honest, it's just better to use the old tagging way, like I've done in this post.
