The linear demand curve is represented by the equation:
    a) Q=a-bP^2
    b) Q=a-bP
    c) P=Q-aP
    d) Q=AP^-b

    I think it's b or c

This must seem really easy but I've only just started learning economics!

Only b and c are linear. But c is not downward sloping.
