I want to study English at university, and have Bristol and Exeter as 'aspirational' choices. However, they require ABB whilst I achieved AAC in my AS year - thus leaving me to wonder if it would even be worth applying. Would they even look at my personal statement? (Also, would the fact that I participated in the 'Access to Bristol' scheme this year aid me my application to Bristol in any way?)

Bristol say this about their Access to Bristol scheme:
"Guaranteed offerSuccessful completion of the Access to Bristol scheme will guarantee you an offer from the University of Bristol, provided that you meet the full entry requirements of the course you apply for. Where a course holds interviews or auditions as part of the selection procedure, you will be guaranteed an interview or audition."

Both websites state A*AA with AAB for contextual offers.
Would you qualify for a contextual offer? (presumably so, if you qualified for the Access to Bristol enhancement scheme).
Are your predicted grades also AAC?
