  1. For A2 AQA I have to compare Othello and two other texts on a question about love, I have already found one screenplay to compare it to but what novel could I compare Othello to other than Wuthering Heights?

In that case I have the perfect book - the talented mr ripley. Tom's relationship with Dickie may just be what you're looking for.

What is your screenplay? There are so many different books and themes you can focus on in your coursework, jealousy, obsession, the role of women, men and power, possession, insanity, downfalls

I'm doing Othello and A View From The Bridge for our coursework, and then I chose The Picture of Dorian Gray, and obsession. Other people in my class are doing Jane Eyre, The Colour Purple, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Madame Bovary, The Handmaid's Tale, Anna Karenina, Wuthering Heights, A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runners, for example.
