Could anyone give some advice to someone who does not have the slightest idea about what career to go into. I am 22 now, worked a few awful jobs, hated it and just generally felt like I could do something more. I do not want to get stuck doing something I hate but thats what its going to turn out like, unless I get myself educated or trained up in something.

My GCSE's were fairly average to be truthful, if i can remember rightly I think english was my best subject and I have always enjoyed reading. I am good at getting along with people but quite quiet and always afraid of failure.

Could anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do, I just feel so lost like everyone else has some kind of plan or long term goal, whereas I need to stop playing so much FIFA and get into gear!

Surely theres something, its not about the money, I just want to be going somewhere or working towards something so to speak.

If English was your best subject in school and you enjoy reading, maybe you could consider doing something to do with that? For example, perhaps you could get a job in proofreading, where you get paid to read books, magazines etc and find and correct mistakes in them
Are you going to a festival?
