Most of us with have some sort of 'deal-breaker' which would stop us getting into or continuing a relationship with someone... it might be something big like they don't want children or something smaller like they are a smoker and you're not.

Do you know what your deal-breakers are and do you consider them before starting a relationship?

Would you ever let a deal-breaker slide if you thought the person was your soulmate?

Those that speak in slang, like saying "Wagwan" at first point of interaction on our date when you are white as Hovis and British. Calling me your "G" or "Fam". They are a no go!

The only deal breaker I have is if they want or have kids. Wouldn't be fair on either of us to be with someone who wanted them and you didn't and vice versa.

    Thanks for the image!

    For me:
    - the age gap (dated someone 13 years older than me - he clearly wanted stuff I didn't)
    - children (I can't have them and would rather date someone who didn't have children already)

I can imagine you wearing your socks all the way to your kneecaps with a smoke pipe in one hand and the daily papers in the other, saying words like " jolly good ol chap". And one of those one eyed glasses.

I always thought smoking would be a deal breaker but when I found out that my boyfriend smokes (he didn't tell me for a while) I found that I love him enough to look past it. Couldn't look past it with my ex though. For me I think I've concluded that if I love them enough, we can work things out
