So I am thinking of applying for economics and many of the universities I want to go to require a 6 in HL Math and 6 6 6 in HL. However I am predicted a 5 in HL Math but in my HLs I have 7 7 5. Does this still mean that because of the 5, they won't accept me. Also, if anyone was wondering, I do do economics at HL.

It depends on the university but they are likely to reject you. Many see Maths as vital.

What I would suggest is researching your unis thoroughly. There are a few that don't require Maths at A level so might not be restrictive. I would certainly you have at least 2 where you will meet the entry requirements for Maths and you could always apply for 1 or 2 in the hope you get an offer and actually get a 6 in Maths.
