How to lose virginity watch

Not in the sense of what to literally do to have sex, I'm sure I can figure that out. But I have no idea what to do to actually find someone to have sex with. I'm 17. I'm not at all unattractive, I'm tall and probably my only flaw is mild acne. I'm boasting in that sense but I'm not afraid to admit that I have really **** social skills, only one friend in person. I'm the epitome of a socially awkward nerd. I've been getting into biking to try and improve my fitness and to have something interesting to say that's not related to computers or games or whatever. I haven't even kissed a girl. In the last few years things have just gradually gotten worse. I have less friends than last year and last year I had less friends than the year before.
No idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm confident, make an effort to talk to people, people in my social circle seem to like me but the relationships never escalate beyond being acquaintances, simply talking during class or whatever. I'm in a small college by the way.
In summary, I need to lose my virginity and I'm not phased about how it's done. I don't care about it being a pleasant experience or something to look back in when I'm 50 fondly, or whatever else. How can I approach this? Developing a relationship with a girl hasn't worked despite my efforts. What can I do? Is a prostitute out of the question?
Thanks in advance! Sorry for the long post, just thought the information might be relevant.
Also, although very appreciated I'm not looking for replies about my position being okay. I know many people go much longer without losing it but it's important to me, and where I live 15 or 16 is the typical age.

Yeah it's easier said than done though. Any man can stick his pee pee in a "lady"

The real question is can OP find one that is willing to open her legs for him like a peace sign.

I'm 17... I need to lose my virginity
You really don't need to be rushing into this - while society seems to suggest that literally everyone loses their virginity ages 15 or 16, it really isn't the case. I'm 17 years old, male, and neither myself nor many of my friends have had sex, and a lot of us haven't had a relationship. That's normal, seriously.

If you find the right person, great. Otherwise, don't rush, you'll find someone eventually, and you'll be glad you waited.

Don't let stupid societal pressure dictate your life. It isn't worth it.

So, plenty of time to develop social skills and to lose it. The drive to get your oats means that shy and socially competent alike find their way. Relax make time for studies and socialising, learn from more socially able friends. Many don't find a first sexual partner till their 20s..

GET READY FOR THE MOST LEGIT ANSWER.

I'm also 17 and, four months ago, I was exactly in your position - awkward virgin af - so I decided I was going to put the effort in and make myself attractive in the ways I can. I got a stylish haircut and became well dressed and, suddenly, girls began to find me attractive. Not "hot" thanks to my average face and weird hairline, but people talked about my transformation quite positively. I started talking with a few girls I got asked on a date by a friend I'd fancied for months (but that didn't work out).

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Ignore people who say you have plenty of time. There are ****boys getting shags right now who are at least a year younger than you.

    HOW TO HAVE SEX

At our age, boys can get laid in 3 ways:
    Pre/during relationships
    Friends with benefits
    Drunk at parties

Chances are, you're not good looking enough for an FWB - even average girls who just want to bang are gonna choose the most attractive guy possible, and what hot guy's gonna give up free sex? We're not all ****boys!

This means you're left with either relationship or drunk sex - so what do you do?

I started off believing a casual hookup would be the best way to do it. But after meeting a delightful girl (who's now my girlfriend), I'm glad I did it with her, before we started our relationship. She's way prettier than any one night stand I could've had - girls who date put my looks on the backbench, unlike girls who have casual sex - and the sex means something to me. I wasn't her first, but she showed me respect in the way nobody else could have. She probably isn't the "one" or anything, but that's not an issue because I still have a connection with her. We had sex after a few weeks of talking, the third time we hung out so it didn't even take that long.

Therefore, get into a relationship. It's easier, as long as you find someone who shares your interests. Sex is guaranteed. You don't need to have ****boy-level good looks.

Also, something to think about: IMO, sex outside a relationship is just ******* with a girl's vagina - there's no meaning; it just feels good. All it does is increase your "number", something which only impresses guys. Would your future wife be happier with a guy who's had 50 casual partners and 1 relationship or the odd one night stand and 8 commited relationships?

    Think about it.

Concentrate on getting a girlfriend rather than losing your virginity.

Before you ask how, it's simple ask a girl on a date.

As Paul said, try and find a girlfriend first. You will generally find you have more sex after you stop trying to get laid. You have to meet a girl first. I suggest having a hobby. Finding groups or clubs that are based round this hobby. Talk to the people and make friends. Enjoy yourself. This way you can meet a girl with the same interests as you. If you both have a spark then go on dates. Sex will happen naturally when you are both ready, don't ruin it by trying to get your leg over before she is ready.
