    Hi,

I am doing an Access Course in Science (intend to study Physics in the Uni) and am doing my first assignment in Environmental Sciences (not my area :s ). It is all done however, just need to draw one aquatic food chain based on sweep sampling we have done. I have tried to do it but am finding it difficult. Could anyone give an idea?

    The following invertebrates were found:

    - Dragonfly Larvae
    - Mayfly Larvae
    - Freshwater Snails
    - Whirligig Beetle

    many many thanks

Don't suppose you dug up any pond weed or algae with them did you?
All food chains must start off with some kind of autotroph level (producer).
