    Heyy, could someone help me please?

    Aluminium is extracted from aluminium oxide in the following reaction

    2Al203 ---> 4Al + 302


    Calculate the maximum theoretical mass of aluminium that can be made from 1.0kg of aluminium oxide.
    I got 280g, is that right?

    Figure out the moles of Aluminium Oxide using this complex equation, Moles = Mass/Mr

    Figure out the mole ratio. Then use that to calculate the mass.

    Perhaps you're calculating Mr incorrectly
