I do that, suddenly have the urge to listen to a particular artist and end up listening to their album over and over again. At the moment it's U2, feeling a teensy bit melancholy.

He is categorised under Folk.. but is seriously making beautiful music...

An absolute Irish gem... the album is worth the money ( and i don't say that for many)!!

hes been described as acoustic indie rock, folk-rock, and compared to the likes of dylan and buckley-its hard to pin a genre on him though

    damien rice<---has some mp3's

he's brilliant! i met some irish guys on holiday and we went through each others cds- and i was hooked on damien rice by the end of the holiday and bought it as soon as i got home.

i'm listening to the new calling album-two, and it's a track called 'somebody out there'
