Basically, my mocks are in a month and a half, and I'm self teaching myself further maths aqa level 2 GCSE to take the mock exam in a few weeks. I only started properly looking through the content and teaching myself this weekend.

    My question is this:
Have I left it too late - should I ask yo quit? I'm aiming forA*s and As in my mocks, and I do have 10 othet subjects to revise for :-/

Because I'm not in a further maths class, I don't have any idea of what will be on the test, and I'll have to get the checklist from a friend in the class when they get given it

I don't know if I'll be able to learn the FM content in time AND revise well fr my other subjects... But I dont want to give in and give up (but mainly, I dont want to go up to my head of year and say I want to quit)

I don't know what to do?!

Probably quite hard considering all your other GCSE subjects that you are studying and that you aren't in a class that teaches that BUT you seem quite clever! Is maths a strong subject for you! I think you could do it if you did lots of studying but further is difficult... Hope all goes well

Mock exams are only meant to help you and your teachers get you ready for the real exams. It won't be the end of the world if you don't get an A.
That said, You have left things very late! Can you actually cope with the extra workload this (unecessary) additional study requires?
Do what you can to study the material before the mocks without adversely affecting your other subjects.
Take the mock exam and if you don't do well drop it, if you do ok and can see the potential for overall success, then carry on with the self study.
