I am currently predicted CCB, I know i can get a lot better than predicted. Would it be worth applying to uni's with requirements of 280 UCAS even though I am under? I want to do journalism and have been looking at places like Worcester. Thanks for your help!

I'd suggest picking a few lower than that and maybe Worcester as a Hopeful. I wouldn't count on it coming through though, That's quite a low PG

Is it that much of a long shot? 280 UCAS is BBC so i'm only one grade down?

No it's not, which is why I suggested still applying for it, the thing is, their will be thousands of applicants with higher grades, who will get priority over offers. Having PG that are already lower will put you at the bottom of the pile, although their is still every chance, you don't know untill you do it. i'd still consider asking for better PG as it's only one grade.

I think you should go for it. There is a chance of you getting that offer and of you meet it. Even if you get your predicted grades they might well accept you but that will depend on the numbers reaching the predicted grades

I think you should go for it. It can't kill you. I applied for a top uni with lower than required grades and still got an offer. Good luck!
