    Hi there

Am hoping someone can help me please!

Am going to apply for a Sep 2016 school direct salaried route for Primary teaching and have a couple of questions

    1) What is the application process: do you we apply via UCAS and through UCAS we put down our references and then do our personal statement etc?

    2) I spent last year helping in my daughter's Y1 class and am currently running a Spanish after school club. After half term I am spending Monday mornings at a local primary school to get more experience BUT who can I put down as a reference as have been told it needs to be someone who can confirm my suitability to work with children etc: can I put down a teacher from last year?!!

    Thanks

    1) Yes

    2) I believe that if you are putting a school down as a reference, you need to put down the head teacher.
