Right now only 8 teams have won world cups in the past; 5 from Europe and the rest from south America.

The latest team to win it's first would cup is Spain(2010), which team would be next?.

I believe it's the Netherlands, because they were close about 3 times.

What do you think?, do you disagree?, do you believe another team from another continent will do it?, let me know your thoughts.

Dear World Cup Rugby fans, noticed I used the word "FIFA"

The rest of the world can only hope they never take football seriously. If they did they'd easily be the best team in the world

England have a better chance than the Netherlands now.

I'd rate Chile just as likely as anyone.

Nah, "soccer" isn't even a black sport in the US yet. In my opinion, an African team will win it before the US does.

    Possibly.

But can you specify which one- I couldnt.

Edit. It would be interesting to get some odds from a bookie regarding this. Sure Chile and Belgium may head the betting but mainly because I'd expect the odds compiler to expect people to say those 2 as they are currently the best of the rest but of course Belgium need to do it in the next 2 world cups(assuming they don't have another crop of great players coming through) and Chile just don't have the population or resources to compete with the USA in 20 years so they would probably need to win one of the next 5 at average true odds of 20-1 or more.

In the USA, football(or soccer as they call it) is generally seen as "a sport for Middle Class White People and Foreigners", while sports like NFL Football and Basketball are most adored by majority of the sports loving population including Poor Inner City Blacks.
