How to A* in physics, chemistry and maths Alevel (Helperino pls) watch

    • Thread Starter

i'm currently one month into alevels following the new reforms so i wont have my edexcel board exams till next year. I have had a couple of tests and honestly i am just get destroyed making silly mistakes, writing the correct answer, then erasing it, feeling like i'm too slow. I feel like absolute **** the past weeks because i am not used to these grades. I got 5 A* and 3 As in my gcses and all my As were 2 ums of the a star. i Honestly want some advice on how to approach studying specially physics, as this is the field im looking at and im doing poorly. Any advice/books/sites/links/ideas would be appreciated. I have never been this depressed in my school life.
    thank you

Hiya, I am currently in Year 13 and whilst I do not have the reforms, I do Physics, Chemistry and Biology (finished Maths A2 last year). Just keep going and it will get easier, I felt exactly the same as you last year, and I had no idea what I was doing in Maths until I had an epiphany around Easter ...

Currently I don't feel like I'm doing well because of the workload right now but later in the year, you will have had time to think about it and let the information sink in.... you eventually understand it. A Levels kinda teach you to think in a different way, so it will take time.
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
