Yesterday i was walking towards a train station from my uni, its a 10 minute walk from my uni. This random girl out of nowhere asked me for directions to that very station, i replied back saying im heading towards that station so youre free to walk along. Then she started to ask me questions about where im from originally and if i go to this university. At this moment i was totally confused as i found out she also attends this university, anyone who goes to this uni will surely know where the station is situated. We then started to talk about work and i asked her if she works part time or anything, she replied back saying she works for this restaurant chain. This restaurant chain is literally 10ft away from the station lol.

Yes she was trying to strike a conversation with you on purpose by the sounds of it. Since she is at your uni can you not add her on fb or something?
