# C3 Trig watch

1. So I'm doing this question:

Prove that

tan(pi/4 - x) = (1-sin 2x)/(cos 2x)

I tried expanding it using the addition formula but I can't get to the next step that the textbook is giving, any help please?

Well you haven't said what you have done really, nor what the next step in the text book is. You do know and have used the fact that ?
