Criminologie assignment help

i have an assignment on: 1. Explain why crime is a contested concept. You will need to provide examples of the dominant constructions of crime here and compare and contrast what they tell us about nature of crime. This question is open- ended in nature, so you need to choose examples to narrow down the focus.

and i have focused on what is crime and its definition, social construction- the media, society, news, how it is portrayed in the media and its influence but.. i was wondering whether i was on the right track because i don't think i have answered the question especially about the nature of crime.
