Hi! So I'm applying to university through UCAS very soon and I aspire pretty highly if I'm honest :/ I want to do English Literature, and absolutely fell in love with the university of York! Obviously they ask for very high grades, perhaps out of my league so just wondered about the likelihood of me getting an offer and is it worth applying there. In my AS levels I got BBBB, and dropped psychology so I carried on Literature, Eng Lang and French. But I'm resitting French and the coursework's for Lit and Lang to hopefully make them A's. My teachers have therefore predicted me A's for the English's and B in French.
I've heard at York they're quite interested in the personal statement more so, I also want to apply to Exeter, Warwick, Loughborough and Keele.
Anyone with past experience of these uni's or applying this year who has advice?! I'm so nervous!
What are the downsides?
